Shadhin successfully launched the “RMG loan program”
Shadhin is focusing on making financial independence for RMG workers. With that purpose, Shadhin team has originated a new digital loan program and started their journey with the RMG loan program for garment workers, initially for Pacific Jeans. Pacific Jean’s employees will have the liberty to sign up for an easy and quick loan if they have a minimum BDT 8,000 salary with a full year of employment and official documents like NID/ passport size picture. For applying, an employee must have a ticket size of BDT 20,000 and the duration of repayment for this loan would be a maximum of 6 months, onward. This loan disbursement will be done in a fully digitized manner. This digital loan program has piloted on 17th, October 2022 and opportunely got disbursed to 30+ garment workers.
